"Hokkaido in Ink" - White Whale

This piece is an original ink drawing from my book "Hokkaido in Ink" published digitally in 2020.

Excerpt from the book:
Enticed by a sign advertising a local pottery workshop and a big white ceramic whale in a display window, we explored further. This resulted in Kana buying a small single-flower vase lacquered in a way that reminded me of foggy forests at night.
After leaving the shop, I looked back, noticed the beautiful view, and snapped a picture. I wonder where the white whale came from.

Please remember that the image, when it appeared in the book, was heavily digitally edited end corrected (added blacker lines, color correction, etc.) - this original piece has none of those corrections.
The "Hokkaido in Ink" pieces were drawn with red underdrawing which was digitally erased for the book but is still visible in this original piece. Please see the photos.
