About postage:

The pieces are sturdily packed (flat) and sent using an international Japan Post Express Mail Service (EMS) with tracking and insurance (covering the full price). To do this, your telephone number is required when you purchase.

About the Corona Virus:

Your package will be sent via Japan Post EMS service. Please check the current EMS Corona status via this website (see the EMS column for your country) before purchasing:

https://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/information/overview_en.html

If sending via JP POST EMS is not possible to your country you can still purchase the picture, but an additional fee for DHL service is required. You can choose this as a shipping method when purchasing.

About the art:

All the art pieces sold here are hand-painted by me (Mateusz Urbanowicz) using tools like watercolors, colored inks, ink, pencils, pens, etc. Please read through the description text for each piece for more details.

I create these pieces with utmost care to the final result, but they still contain blemishes, visible fixes, mistakes, etc., resulting from the traditional art process.

In other words, these original pieces are not as "perfect" as the digitally retouched, edited, and color corrected images you might have seen on my website or social media. Understanding that, please look carefully at the unedited photos I uploaded to this store to see how the original, hand-made piece really looks before purchasing.

About the pieces:

All the pieces are signed and dated with a pencil in the right bottom corner.

All the pieces are made using professional-grade tools: acid-free paper, artist-grade watercolors, professional-grade inks, and pens, etc.
All the images have been treated with two coatings of Holbein watercolors W483 Matte UV varnish, which provides additional protection against dirt and UV light.
Still, like all physical artworks, these pieces are susceptible to deterioration if displayed or stored inappropriately. Things like moisture, dusty environment, direct sunlight (or other strong UV light source) can damage them.
If you are not sure how to store or display them correctly - please get in touch with your closest art framing specialist - they will know how to handle the art so you can enjoy it while keeping it safe.

Taxes, fees, and insurance:

All the taxes, fees, and insurance required on the Japanese side are included in the price of the art piece. But as rules differ from country to country (especially in the case of the more expensive pieces), please confirm with your tax office about art import taxes and any other additional fees that might occur, before you buy.
