This piece is an original ink drawing from my book "Hokkaido in Ink" published digitally in 2020.

Excerpt from the book:
I love when old buildings are repurposed with style and continue being used without destroying their original beauty. Here was a building converted into a café and hostel. A former “kura” (traditional small warehouse) sat next to it, also transformed for everyday use.

Please remember that the image, when it appeared in the book, was heavily digitally edited end corrected (added blacker lines, color correction, etc.) - this original piece has none of those corrections.
The "Hokkaido in Ink" pieces were drawn with red underdrawing which was digitally erased for the book but is still visible in this original piece. Please see the photos.
