"Hokkaido in Ink" - Kawamata Store

This piece is an original ink drawing from my book "Hokkaido in Ink" published digitally in 2020.

Excerpt from the book:
I was charmed by these old buildings with their wooden and stone structure and the vintage signs advertising high-quality pens (fountain pens?) and ballpoint pens!
This store, initially selling tea and writing supplies, now still offers stylish stationery (among other things). We spent quality time browsing and ended up buying some tools for our studio!

Please remember that the image, when it appeared in the book, was heavily digitally edited end corrected (added blacker lines, color correction, etc.) - this original piece has none of those corrections.
The "Hokkaido in Ink" pieces were drawn with red underdrawing which was digitally erased for the book but is still visible in this original piece. Please see the photos.
