Before buying, please read the “read first” section of this store!
!!!
This piece is an original ink drawing from my book "Hokkaido in Ink" published digitally in 2020.
Excerpt from the book:
Looking into a students’ room in an old dorm building, we discovered a game board for Japanese chess (shōgi) on one of the tatami mat covered beds. I can imagine students spending some cold days there, playing long games next to the warm radiator, talking, laughing, and drinking tea from the metal cups.

To consider:
Please remember that the image, when it appeared in the book, was heavily digitally edited end corrected (added blacker lines, color correction, etc.) - this original piece has none of those corrections.
The "Hokkaido in Ink" pieces were drawn with red underdrawing which was digitally erased for the book but is still visible in this original piece. Please see the photos.
